Set up Android Phone/Tablet

Follow these steps to create an IMAP connection to an Android device.

1. Go to Settings and click Accounts
2. Press Add account
3. Press Email
4. Now you'll be asked to configure the basic settings. Firstly enter your email address and press Next
   • Now enter your password and press Next again
5. Choose IMAP account when asked
6. Now you'll be asked to configure the incoming server settings
   • User name: Enter your email address
   • Password: Enter your password
   • IMAP-server: mail60.telligence.net.au
   • Security type: STARTTLS
   • Port: 143
   • IMAP path prefix: INBOX
7. Press Next
8. Now you'll be asked to configure the outgoing server settings
9. SMTP server: mail60.telligence.net.au
10. Security type: STARTTLS
11. Port: Enter 587
12. Require sign-in: Checked
13. User name: Enter your email address
14. Password: Enter your password
15. Press Next
16. Now you'll be asked to configure some general account settings. Most of these you can change to your liking
17. Press Next
18. Now you'll be asked to name the account, and choose which name should be displayed as the sender
19. Press Finish setup
