1.   Access Plesk admin panel
 

Secure IMAP customers can access the Plesk admin panel on the following URL: https://mail60.telligence.net.au:8443

Username and password were supplied at signup.  If you have forgotten your password please use the forgot password link and enter the email address associated with your customer account.  If you don't know which email address this is or you don't know your username then please raise a support case and our team will respond.

  
2.   Manage email accounts as a customer
 

Create an email account

Log in to Plesk with your customer account details.

Click to view the list of current email addresses.

Click  to get started.  If this button isn't visible please raise a support case as you have likely hit your account limit and will need to purchase additional accounts.

From the General tab enter the following details:

Email address: this is the name of the mailbox

Can be used to log in to Plesk: leave this box ticked to allow plesk access.  Users can use this to reset their passwords and manage their mailbox

External email address: optional.  Only used in the event of a password reset

Password: enter complex password or click Generate button to have one generated

Confirm password: only required if password entered manually

Mailbox: leave ticked if mailbox required.  Untick of account is to be a forwarding only account

Description in Plesk: optional.  Enter a description you would like viewable in the Plesk panel

Click OK to save.  It's also strongly advisable to enable spam filtering and antivirus scanning as shown further down this article.

 

Manage Email Forwarding

From the email address settings page click the Forwarding tab to view settings.

To enable email forwarding tick the box "Switch on mail forwarding".  To disable email forwarding untick this option.

Enter new email addresses or modify an existing list of addresses in the field shown.

Click OK to save.

 

Manage Email Aliases

From the Email Aliases tab you can add or remove email aliases against the mailbox.  To add an alias enter the name in the field shown.  Click "Add email alias" to add additional aliases.  Once done click OK to save.

 

Manage Auto-Reply

From the Auto-Reply tab you can enable or disable the auto-reply message for when you're out of the office.  To enable, tick the box "Switch on auto-reply".

Message format: leave default

Encoding: leave default

Auto-reply message text: enter text here you would like to send when an email is received

Forward to: optional.  Enter email address here you would like all messages forwarded to during away period

Send automatic response to a unique email address no more than (times a day): leave default

Attach file: optional.  Upload a file/s to be attached to each auto-reply

Switch off auto-reply on: optional.  Set an end date to disable auto-reply so you don't need to do it manually

 

Manage Spam Filter

From the spam filter tab you can enable/disable the spam filter or modify how spam messages are handled.  Just tick or untick the "Switch on spam filtering for this email address" box to enable or disable.

What to do with messages: select the best option from the list

Click OK to save.

Show Advanced Settings

From here you can adjust the spam filter sensitivity and add addresses to White lists and Black lists.

Click OK to save.

 

Manage Antivirus

From the Antivirus tab you can enable or disable the antivirus by ticking or unticking the box "Switch on antivirus protection for this email address".  Select the scanning option for incoming or outgoing messages or both.

Click OK to save.

  
3.   Managing email accounts as an email user
 

Log on to Plesk via https://mail60.telligence.net.au:8443 using your email address as the Username and associated password.

You will then see a button called Change Mail Account Settings.  Click this button

 

Reset email password / Update recovery email address

From the General tab you can enter a new password and or update your "External email address" for when a password recovery email needs to be sent.  If this field is blank the recovery email will go to the primary address.  In this case the primary address will be sent the reset email (in this example the primary address is test@example.com).

 

Manage Email Forwarding

From the email address settings page click the Forwarding tab to view settings.

To enable email forwarding tick the box "Switch on mail forwarding".  To disable email forwarding untick this option.

Enter new email addresses or modify an existing list of addresses in the field shown.

Click OK to save.

 

Manage Auto-Reply

From the Auto-Reply tab you can enable or disable the auto-reply message for when you're out of the office.  To enable, tick the box "Switch on auto-reply".

4.   Grant email user access to Plesk panel
 

By granting email user access to Plesk your users can reset their email account passwords and modify other general settings without requiring help from an admin.

Log on to Plesk with your customer account and open up the email settings for the account you wish to enable Plesk access.

From the General tab you will see the following option:

Tick this box to allow the email user access to manage their account.

  
5.   Forgot customer account or email password
 

If you've forgotten your Plesk customer account or email password just click the forgot password link on the log in page: https://mail60.telligence.net.au:8443/

Important Note: If you do not have another email address saved in Plesk's "External Email Address" field the password reset email will be sent to the primary email address.  If you do not have access to the primary account please submit a support case here.

Enter your email address and click Send.

A password reset email will be sent to the email address listed in your customer account.  After following the link in the email you will be able to enter a new password or click Generate to have one generated.  Click Save to finish.
